Trying to embed the MP3 of my daughters voicemail

Well,
I am trying to embed the MP3 of my daughters voicemail. It really isn't that hard, I just haven't spent the time yet to put it on my server and embed it to here. Stay tuned and it'll be up soon.

So, I got the press to run better, and I should be finishing up the devil job today.

My family got chosen to be one of the families featured in a KSL news radio story about living on $100 of groceries a week. This should be fun, and easy, we have been living on $100 of groceries per week for some time now. Even including the formula.

We went to a family reunion over the weekend for a bit, I wish we could have stayed longer, but I had to go to work, because of this project. Barely got to say hi to everyone, as they all started really arriving and talking as we were leaving. Seems like that is always happening.

Well, life has its curve balls and lemons, all we have to do is make homeruns or lemonade out of them.

Till next time!

The Devil!

So I have now been printing one job for 6 full business days now. And will most likely be working tomorrow, and late tonight.

On to happier thoughts, I found a way to get the cutest voicemail off my voicemail from t-mobile so I could save it. Mand had Ireland call me a while ago, and for what ever reason I didn't feel the phone ring, so it went to voicemail. Here is the voicemail my (at the time) 20 month old daughter left me.

Work in Progress

So I have a bunch of projects I am doing as iba Designs. one of them includes a promotional sale on business cards. I am working on the artwork for the email blast and the site headline. That should be up soon. Now I need to go to bed so I can get up early enough to get to work early. I am not a morning person, at least when it includes getting woken up by an alarm. I am someone who likes to just wake up on my own.

Go check out the site. Link

Hmm, can I go home now?

Over the last 3 months I have been used to getting just a little more than nothing for hours at work. I have been able to find ways to supplement this income, but working on 3 different projects, plus having a "how ever long the job takes" time job, it has become very exhausting quickly.
So speaking of exhausting, my job has now turned into a more than full time job. I have worked the 8 hours a day for the last week, and today I was there from just past 8 till 6:30, and no lunch. So I am getting exhausted fast.

So I have mobile blogging now!

Yeah, that's right, I can blog from my phone now. I am sitting at work trying to get this job to run again. I am having more troubles this morning than usuall with the press. But that comes with the territory.
I am also watching the NASA space walk on NASA's web site.
I will also be working on a new design for the blog in a bit, which means I'll be working on 2 because if I do mine I will do the Mandi's too.

Don't hope for success, plan it!

So I finally decided to make a blog

Yeah, I have one for my business that unfortunately doesn't get used enough. That's ok, as my design business is kind of feast or famine right now anyway. I made this blog to help keep track of my personal experiences. Help people see my point of view on things, if you really care to know.
So, first thing is first.
I have been slammed at work, Talon Printing, Digital Printing Department Manager, or in other words, I am the department. I have been printing some parking passes, a large amount of parking passes, and it is all variable data. Each parking pass is a set of 6, for 6 home games. And each set is numbered. Also there are 9 different parking lots, and the tickets for each lot are printed on different color paper. The variable data included the number, the game number, and the team they are facing.
The paper I am printing them on is pre-die-cut, enter problems now. I get double sheets feed all the time, I am getting paper jams, but it is getting better, as I am getting better at finding way to make the paper not stick together so much.
I haven't been able to do any cool photography lately, just too slammed. I plan on going to Bridal Veil Falls soon to take some pictures up there for a couple projects I am working on.
I have also recently been reading, which is a miracle in and of itself. I just finished "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie, and have now just started "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. Both great books, and I recommend them to anyone wanting more out of life.
Well I think I have rather worn out the welcome you gave me by coming here.
